1. What is wi.nr?

wi.nr is a URL Shortener. You probably know this already, but URL shorteners are used to turn long URLs into shorter, simpler ones.

Yeah, we know there are a million URL shorteners out there. Why use wi.nr? Because each time you use wi.nr you can win prizes instantly! That's right. Instant prizes. Take that, other URL shorteners.

wi.nr also offers other cool features, such as the ability to see statistics on how many people clicked on your shortened URL.

2. How do I shorten URLs with wi.nr?

Using wi.nr is simple. Here's how:

Step 1: Enter your long URL into the entry box on the wi.nr homepage, and click the "shorten" button.

Step 2: Give us your e-mail address and sign in with your Twitter account, so we can contact you if you win.

Voila! Out comes your shortened URL to share with your friends, followers, contacts, what-have-yous. Each time another person clicks on your URL, you're entered to win prizes!

3. How can I win prizes with wi.nr?

There are three different ways to enter wi.nr sweepstakes and win prizes. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

1. By creating shortened URLs and posting them to Twitter, in email, or anywhere on the internet really. Each time a person clicks on your URL, you're entered to win.
2. By clicking on shortened URLs. That's right, every time you click on somebody else's URL shortened by wi.nr, you're entered to win a prize as well.
3. By referring people to wi.nr. Talk about friends helping friends! Invite people to use wi.nr, and each time they win a prize by shortening a URL, you do too! Sign in or sign up to get your referral link.

4. What prizes can I win?

Prizes change every day! Go to our sweepstakes rules page and you can see the current list of prizes, with prize value and the number of prizes offered.

5. How do I know if I've won a prize?

If you click on a URL shortened with wi.nr and win, you'll get directed to a special "Congratulations Page" instead of the original URL. If the URL you've shortened wins, or you win because of a referral, we'll send you an e-mail congratulating you.

6. What's with the ads?

Each prize we give away costs us money. And while we are rich in the metaphysical sense, we subsist on a diet of freeze-dried noodles and positive energy. In order to give out prizes, we need to serve ads. If you don't like the ads, don't use wi.nr. We're cool with that. Go in peace, my child.
